Our Story

Founded in 2015, Tippy’s Restaurant was inspired by the matriarch Myrtle Mae Fulton aka Tippy. Known in the community for her passion of soul food meals and ensuring everyone had a hot meal daily, she was destined to come back to Florida to collaborate with her protégé, daughter and best friend Demetra Green aka DeeDee to open a restaurant. As we all know, time waits on no one and her call to heaven came before she was able to see her dream come true. Passionate about ensuring her mother’s purpose came to fruition, DeeDee launched Tippy’s Restaurant, Inc. six years later and has been going strong ever since in the memory of her mother. The authenticity of the recipes and seasonings are to be attributed to Tippy that will be forever an everlasting trademark in the soul food industry.
